CuteFTP
(an excellent ftp program) is available for download at www.cuteftp.com.
FrontPage Users: If you are using Microsoft FrontPage to design your Web site you do not need an ftp program or account to access and edit your Web site.

1. You can access your site through FrontPage by selecting Open FrontPage Web --> the Web Server should say maxweb.maxinter.net--> then List Webs. Use your normal username and password if prompted. You will then see a few directories and files listed.

2. You can now edit, delete, or add any pages or files that you want using FrontPage.

3. When you have finished creating or editing your site, you can "publish" it to your Web space by going to File --> Publish FrontPage Web. You may be prompted the first time for the location of your Web. You should type in the URL of your site. (ex. - http://www.maxinter.net/~(username) You may then be prompted for a username and password, use your normal username and password. It may take a few minutes to copy the files.

This function of FrontPage removes the need to use an ftp program to upload files to your site (assuming you continue to use FrontPage). If you start using another HTML program, you will need an ftp program and ftp access (which we can provide when/if you need it) we do not automatically assign an ftp account to FrontPage users for the reason described above.
